Who runs this
TimeFoundry is built and operated by IronFrame Studio, based in Belgium. For anything on this page — including a request to see, correct, export or delete your data — write to support@timefoundry.app.
What we store
Your account email and password hash; the business details you enter in Settings; and the clients, projects, time entries, expenses, receipts, tax presets and invoices you create. If you upload a logo or a receipt, we store that file. If you connect Stripe, we store the identifier of your connected account — never your card details or your clients' card details.
Who processes it
- Supabase — database, authentication and file storage, running on our own server in the EU.
- Stripe — subscription payments and, if you connect an account, your clients' invoice payments. Card data goes to Stripe and never touches TimeFoundry.
- Purelymail — outbound email: account confirmation, password recovery, and the invoices and reminders you choose to send.
- Sentry — error monitoring. When something breaks, a diagnostic report about the failure is sent so we can find and fix it, along with a small sample of performance traces. Session replay is not enabled.
Email we send on your behalf
When you email an invoice or a reminder, TimeFoundry sends it to the client address you entered, with your business name as the sender and your business email as the reply-to. Your client's address is stored only as part of that client record. We do not market to your clients, ever.
What we do not do
No advertising, no behavioural profiling, no sale or sharing of your information, and no analytics beyond the error monitoring described above. Every account's rows are isolated at the database level.
How long we keep it
Your data stays while your account exists. Delete your account and we remove it from the live database; encrypted backups roll off within 14 days. Export everything at any time from Settings — time entries and invoices as CSV, or the complete account as a ZIP archive — on every plan, including the free one.
Beta
TimeFoundry is in internal testing. Payment flows currently run against Stripe test data, but your account, invoices, uploaded files and outgoing email are real. If something looks wrong, tell us at support@timefoundry.app — that is what this phase is for.
